Katherine Jean Bolduan, also known by her professional name Kate Bolduan, is an American journalist. Her most well-known role is as anchorwoman on CNN's morning program At This Hour. Bolduan was previously co-anchoring CNN morning shows New Day, and The Situation Room. Bolduan is a member of CNN's winning presidential election coverage for 2012. Bolduan also worked in Washington DC as a correspondent for the US House, and US Senate. Bolduan was an active Capitol Hill Unit member when she reported on the Congress cycle and events such as the discussions to raise the credit limit for federal government as well as the debates of the super committee. As a general assignment reporter she's covered events including those of Christmas Day bombing in 2009 and the Supreme Court ruling on Obamacare. The reporter joined CNN Newsource in 2007. As a national correspondent she covered breaking news as well as feature stories to more than 800 CNN Newsource affiliates. Previously, she was an anchor on NBC News MSNBC & WTVD-TV.
