Alison Krauss, born in Decatur, Illinois on 23 July 1971, is a well-known and wealthy Country Singer. Alison Krauss and LeAnn Kymes were two of the youngest Grammy Award winners. Alison Maria Krauss, born 23rd July 1971, is an American musician and singer. She started working in the business of music in the early years of her life. When she was 10 years old, she took part in local competitions and made her debut album. In 1985 she was signed to Rounder Records. Her first solo album was released in 1987. The album was also a part of the band Alison Krauss Union Station where she still performs. In 1989, she released her first solo album her first solo album came out with them.
