Allison Stokke has been a pole vaulter for more than 20 years. She was born on the 22nd March 1989 in Newport Beach, California. 2007 was the year that a picture of Stokke competing in an age-appropriate track event went viral, and she was recognized as the pole-vaulter of the century. Instagram and Twitter are now her most popular social media outlets. Stokke is an incredibly well-known sportsperson in track and field, similar to Jessica Ennis Hill. Los Angeles Times reported, along with other publications it claimed that Stokke did not seek out this the attention. Brett Hutchins and David Rowe in Technology Power and Culture in the Network Society connected Stokke's story to those of American soccer stars Alex Morgan and Hope Solo. Both women were alleged to have been sexually assaulted and their image on the internet was presented in a manner they claimed was devaluing their accomplishments of the athletes. They also noted that Stokke's comments on social media are often insulting and attributed the sexualization of the process to the women. Women from other backgrounds drew parallels to Brandi's celebration of her sports bra when she was awarded the FIFA Women's World Cup in 1999. They claimed that conversations regarding appearance dominated sporting occasions for women. Images of Stokke competing on the track in New York in early 2007 were taken by a journalist for a Californian track and field website and then posted on the internet. With Leather, a popular sports blog that has plenty of readers who are male, re-posted the photo in May under the title Pole Vaulting Is Sexy Barely legal. Matt Ufford was threatened by the photographer that he would take legal action if it did not take down the image. The article, however, received significant media attention and was published on several websites. Stokke became the focus of a website dedicated to her, which included a number of photos of Stokke taking part in pole vault. The images were quickly shared through social media and online fan groups, which attracted thousands. Alyce Caron..............Alyce Caron was born in Houston in the United States in February 1957. She has earned the National Merit award at the University of Washington and celebrated 22nd birthday 2022.
